& as you can see in the photos below, YES, I CHANGED MY HAIR COLOR. Then what? It turned green by itself? Lol I actually dyed a dark ash brown over my red. I have absolutely no idea why....

Was baptized Catholic as a baby. I probably wouldn't do that for my kids next time but rather let them choose when they're old enough. I'm not really a religious person...

Well....I don't want the police to google "drugs in Singapore" & find my blog & jail me for something I say here. Hahahha but I guess.... experimenting is fine but don't get hooked?

#21 Your opinion on alcohol

Nothing wrong with drinking for fun, when partying or just chilling with friends. Just don't cause trouble for others when intoxicated haha & know your limits I guess?

I don't remember at this point of time but definitely with Sherman la (who else do I quarrel & fight with?? Hahaha) it's a good thing I don't really remember cos that probably means we haven't argued in a while... ha

Just got back from BKK the day before, this wasn't a work trip at all but more of just chill/relax... although I didn't really chill much at all. Hahaha, flew over with Sherman, Mandy & Yanyan.

Our hotel room was so hugeeeeeee. Omg we booked the 2-bedroom executive & Pai upgraded us to the premier (I think??) anyway does anyone know how to increase the video size... I seriously have no idea how to link my YouTube videos here correctly lol D:

Hung out for awhile in our room then went down for dinner at aLL six to twelve before going up to get ready to meet Claire, Joachim, Huizhuang, Jo, Weijun, Ben & their friend Daryl at Slim. Was a pretty chill night, didn't get drunk or anything lol. Went to Wip for abit after that but left early to send Ryan back to our room cos he was gone hahahhaha. Epic.

Everyday was just like shopping shopping & more shopping?? Went to the usual places, Siam, Platinum, Union Mall... also brought them for brunch at Roast, Thonglor 13. Been there like a million times but tried their desserts for the first time, the strawberry waffle was SO GOOD!!

Eggs Benedict with Crispy Parma Ham, Rosti with Smoked Salmon & some pasta which was very good too! Hot Chocolate & Matcha Latte

Croque Monsieur (which was damn nice but damn jelat) & cobb salad aroy mak mak! Just a little heavy on the mayo dressing though.

Walked ONE BIG ROUND around Chatuchak looking for these noodles. Herbal Chicken Noodle Soup!!!!! 

I'm weird. I only eat these green noodles at MK with all the different kinds of fish cake. Fish shaped, star shaped & the square one. Hahahha no one else wanted to eat the fish cakes?!?!? So I just ate all of it alone while the rest ate like beef, prawns etc. Lolol

Met up with Mr Dave Teng for coffeeeeee! He's in BKK till Dec studying at Mahidol University & my main purpose was to pass him his 2 cartons of cigs hahahhaha. Will be back to visit you soon!!!!

Met Khun Mea for dinner at Aroy Naenon (again I nearly died cos everything was so.frigging.spicy) & she's sooooo cutiee omggg she entertained my nonsense & kept high-fiving me bwahahha. Also helped to wash the Hello Kitty bucket & tumbler which Pai bought for me :*

I really don't know. It's wrong but I guess I believe everyone has their reasons... it's not really my place to judge other people's relationships but I would hate for it to happen to me.... (duh)

Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. I just really like the tune of it! It's been my all-time favourite song since.... forever.

I'm going to Bangkok with all of my favourite people!!!! Yayyyyyy ;-)

#12 Ten things about you that people wouldn't expect

(1) I'm a neat freak in every aspect except my own bedroom. It's a huge gigantic mess with my own stuff & the shop's stocks all over the place. I kick & trip over things all the time even though my room is my normal standards quite big. Lol

(2) I love reading. I can read an average of 1.5 books a day. I used to borrow 12 books from the library every week when I was younger, until I started becoming a typical teenager busy with hanging out with friends, going out, bla bla LOL 

(3) Even though I look like a heck-care, party party & whatever kind of person, I actually think through things alot. 

(4) I seriously don't party as much as everyone thinks I do.

(5) Every time I travel overseas, once I reach the hotel room, I'll place my luggage neatly at a corner & display all my makeup & toiletries neatly in the toilet & dressing table. I also try & pack every night

(6) I handle like 85% of my online store. (The other 10% goes to Shermaine & 5% to Sherman lol) 

(7) I am really not a brand-conscious person, except when it comes to bags & (some) accessories. I don't particularly buy clothes of any brand, honest!! But yes.... my weakness is definitely bags. :X

(8) I can't think of 8,9 & 10. Teeheeee. I guess what you see is basically what you get from me?

#13 What kind of person attracts you

I don't wanna be fake & say oh... a good heart or an honest/decent character. Obviously what attracts me initially will be the person's looks right.... hahahhaa. I like tall guys, >180CM with a fit body (I hate buff guys. I prefer lean). Lololol but what will attract me long-term is probably the chemistry. Wait, is this question even asking about like the opposite sex? Anyway even for friends, it'll definitely be the chemistry!

-: I hate that I have to be fake around you. I usually would not bother being "friends" with someone like you but I guess I just don't wanna ruin the "bigger picture" aka making things awkward for others.

-: Sometimes I miss how close we used to be.

So ever since a month plus back, I started going to Mink almost weekly now. Yesssss all the alcohol is really bad & there are so many calories hahahaha. But I can never say no to partying with the girls! (Except 2 weeks ago when there was suddenly a raid & I completely regretted going...) 

I seriously hate taking photos at clubs. The lighting is so bad, we have to use flash, & the photos get all grainy & disgusting. Even severe editing cannot save em... of course unless the club photographer takes the photos la. Sigh. Anw idk whats with my twist pose. I think I just wanna cover my forehead. Lol! 

Here's to the long weekend of partying & crazy drinking & eating & shopping. Omg I'm gonna gain so much weight. No more partying & diet starts when I get back to SG! D: next post I'm gonna blog about all the cafes I've been to recently & home-made recipes + other food stuff that you guys have been seeing alot on my Instagram. Sadly, only my food pictures get tons of likes & the rest are just ignored SO SAD OK. Hahahhah kidding uh.

✯ ONE MONTH BLOG CHALLENGE ✯

Because I don't usually know what to blog about cos nothing really much happens in my daily life (& I don't want to only update after a trip to Bangkok ha ha), I came across this one-month blog challenge which means I'll be blogging quite frequently if I remember to, at least. It's meant to be a one-month, daily challenge so there are 30 tasks, but I'm going to blog weekly, covering 7-8 questions in one post.

#1 Name, Age, Birthday, Hobbies, Favourite Music

My name is Beverley Matilda Chow. I don't have a Chinese name. Nope I'm not kidding or lying, my parents aren't well-versed enough in Chinese & probably did not know how to give me a Chinese name/did not see the need for one. I'm 24 this year (yes very old I know omgosh) & my birthday is on the 28th of May, born in 1989. 

My hobbies include sourcing for my online store (which basically, means shopping? I guess?), traveling & dancing although I haven't really danced at all lately as I've been busy & lazy. I do only hip-hop now(including street jazz & reggae) & have dabbled in ballet & contemporary when I was younger. Is Instagramming a hobby??

I listen to almost all kinds of music except techno, screamo/rock music & Chinese songs but my favourite genres have got to be hip-hop & R&B. \m/


#2 Meaning behind your blog URL

I honestly don't remember. I think I was younger & it sounded cool, spelling district as distrik. Anyhow, I've stuck with this username mainly because I'm too lazy to change it & I've been using it for so long. It's my Instagram & Twitter username as well.


#3 How have you changed in the past 2 years

Definitely become less self-conscious, in terms of going out without any makeup & now okay with pushing back my fringe showing my forehead (lol). I also am in a relationship & have been for almost 2 years, which is the longest I've been in one heh heh. I don't take allowance from my parents anymore, & I think I've become a lot more street-smart ever since I started my own online business. I've learnt to live & let live, & I don't bother with people who stir shit all the time anymore.


#4 What you wear to bed

I wear boxer shorts from Cotton On & a tee.


#5 Something that pisses you off

When I can't find something. I hate it when I want to use something & I just can't find it. I hate misplacing things it just annoys & bugs the shit out of me.


#6 Talk about the first time you met your friends

I don't really know what friends this question is referring to. If it means first friends I ever had, probably when I went to nursery. Lol, if it means my current friends, then.... I'll just give a very brief description of a few people that I contact on an almost-daily basis.

Sherman: Met him at some Thai disco through other friends (Claire, Dexter) & subsequently he added me on Facebook & BBM

Mabel: Through CHIJ Dance Ensemble when I was in Secondary 2 (14 y/o) & she was in Secondary 1. I think she came for the dance camp orientation.

Mandy: Worked with her on her first day at Frolick, Cineleisure

Cindy: She was the HR-in-charge at Frolick but I really don't remember how we got close

Mel: Was in the same class in JC but weren't close, only got closer after we started to sit next to each other in the classroom

Pai: Hotel manager of Urbana, the hotel I always stay at in Bangkok


#7 Five things that irritate you about the same sex/opposite sex

Same sex: Bitchiness, competitiveness (like who is prettier, who had more ex-boyfriends, bla bla hello no one gives a fuck), toilet-hogging, that's about all I can think of right now

Opposite sex: Messiness/heck-care attitude, guys who think they can get away with anything because they're guys. e.g. I forgot my girlfriend's birthday... oops but not my fault what guys don't really care about birthdays or pay attention to such things. LIKE WTF?
