17-23 December: Bangkok

This will probably be the last time I'll be blogging about my trips to Bangkok in full detail. Tbh I don't do anything much I just live each day there just like how I do in S'pore. Haha & people are constantly asking me the same old questions on ask.fm & Instagram & thru email... please read my previous blog posts about BKK & if you don't find the answer there then contact me k? I also had this really rude girl demanding for info on BKK last week.. nvm shall not go into that. I'm happy to help but please.. why are you doing this to meeeee hahaha

So we reached back from Taipei at around 12MN... went back home to unpack & repack then stayed over at Sherman's for the night. Went back to the airport again at 1PM for lunch & check-in... off to BKK! Tbh I was so damn sick of plane rides by then... but no complaining coz I'm off to my fav country woohooooo

Day 1: Flew Scoot to BKK. Every time we land at Suvarnabhumi Airport my face be like:

Anyhoo, cabbed to Urbana Langsuan & since it was kor kor Pai's birthday, Sunny left me some banoffee cake which was actually very good! from the celebration in the afternoon (but the birthday boy was nowhere in sight, already sleeping at home lolol)

Settled for dinner at aLL six to twelve as usual. The things we ordered were also, as usual. But decided to order dory fish instead this time (top left hand) too bad they stuffed it with meat which I didn't really like, picked all of it out.

They also upgraded Sherman & I from a 1-bedroom apartment to a 2-bedroom one (WHATEVER FOR??) & Ryan came over to chill for abit before heading to Khao San to meet Bill for drinks. His English improved so much!!!

Lookie at my handsome boyyyy *_*

Day 2: Woke up pretty early so headed downstairs to 7-11 to buy my favourite yakult! Sherman had pig trotter rice by the roadside.

After that changed & waited for Sunny to come pick us up & we went to Roast at Thonglor 13 for brunch! I really love the food at Roast, we never fail to visit every time we're in BKK.

The strawberry waffles..... really..... !!!!!!!!

With my booo :*

After we were filled to the brim, Sunny brought us to Purr Cat Cafe Club, coz I said I wanted to play with some cats. Ok I actually would much prefer a dog cafe but apparently it was too far away or something. I forgot the address tho, it's like Sukhumvit Soi 55 or ... ummm...

Look at this cutie pie! He was hugging his toy while he slept lolol & hugged it tighter when I tried to pull it away.

New cap from Sneaka Villa again lol

Went to Siam Square & visited the usual, Sneaka Villa & V.A.C to get some shirts, then went to Siam Paragon to chill & met Ragavan & his girlfriend up! Showed them Siam Square Night Market then we went back to Langsuan for a massage at Chao 9. Washed up then went to Jae Koy at Ratchathewi for dinner. Idk the address of this place but if you can't speak or read Thai then you prolly won't be able to order anything at all hahaha. I also discovered my hidden talent: apparently I have nice Thai handwriting... hahaha Thai words are so freaking hard to write tho.

Went back to the hotel & Ryan stayed over (no wonder they upgraded our room hahaha) the guys were drinking beer & doing punishments like sit ups, crunches, push ups & basically torturing themselves lolol wtf.

Day 3: Woke up early again for lunch with Sunny before she started work. Went to Honmono Sushi which was what we've been talking about since 3 months ago.

The food was good, prices were like S'pores. Look at the volcano salmon aburi sushi!!!!!!!! One piece was like $6 SGD but look how huge the salmon was.

Went to National Museum area to help Alan change his Thai baht then to Amari Watergate hotel where Sherman usually makes his shirts/pants/suits at Paul's Fashion. After that we crossed over & I insisted on shopping at Platinum.... we covered 2 levels in less than an hour & I only bought ONE TOP. What in the world....

Walked over to Central World to find Pai's birthday present & spent quite abit of time there. Was actually the first time I've really shopped at Central World haha got Topshop flats for SGD $20 only bwahaha. Every shop had sales.... D:

Bought Twilight Sparkle coz I was so dissatisfied with Platinum that day hahaha.

Went back to the hotel & went for massage next door again hahaha. Was too lazy to go out for dinner so we ordered in from Home Kitchen

Day 4: Went to Phetchaburi Soi 19 for wanton mee that all Singaporeans seem to love. I don't even know what's the hype over this place. The wanton mee isn't even that nice???? It's so normal & oily. Plus there was a queue till the road that day. But oh well Sherman wanted to have it so yeaaaa... the place was filled with Singaporeans lol.

Purposely only had one small bowl of wanton mee soup so I could have my fav crepe! Added almost everything & anything into it. Lol we added ham, sausage, crab stick, pork floss, mayo, cheese, cashew nuts... hahaha

Went back to the hotel to check out then accompanied the rest for lunch before going to Lebua to check in! We booked the Tower Club Cityview Suite for the next 3 nights, at about SGD $300 per night with lounge access, which meant free flow of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks from 6AM to 6PM + light buffet.

The check in process was really pleasant, we didn't have to wait or stand at the reception, we were assigned a front desk staff who completed all the paperwork while KNEELING down in front of us as we were sitting on the sofa (!!!!) & she brought us personally to our suite & showed us everything inside... say whatttttt

Ordered a mai tai & it was SO STRONG my head felt so heavy after. Just. one. drink. Hahahha it was quite stupid tho coz for the next 4 days we never went to the lounge again...

The view from our balcony. I suddenly can't remember which level we stayed at.... 56 I think! The view was so amazinggggg.

Ryan then came over & we chilled most of the time at our balcony (we should have just booked a balcony & not the room since we spent most of our time there hahaha) & went out for dinner. Lebua is at Silom area I think, nearest BTS was Saphan Taksin.

Been wanting to try these pink noodles for the longest time ever. Guess what... this is called yentafo noodles. Which I realised is what we call yong tau foo. The pink stuff is the YTF sauce!!!! Bahahahahha got cheated & excited for nothing. Still yummy tho! The guys had tom yum noodles.

Bill came over after he ended work & we just chilled in our huge room.. we didn't even go out at all that day except for dinner haha. The boys bought beer back which I didn't really drink coz I hate beer. & guess what, a chill night became a puking night lol Bill got quite drunk HAHAHA. He's so cute I love him so much. He wanted to puke so he grabbed a plastic bag & rushed to the balcony & faced outwards, coz he said "I wanna vomit with the view na" hahahaha!

The boys' stupid game & punishment hahahhaa

Day 5: I set the alarm early so we could go down to Mozu to have breakfast but in the end I couldn't wake up so Sherman went down alone. Oops hehe anw he came back raving about how good the breakfast spread was.... :(

Headed to Chatuchak! It's like every single trip to BKK I plan it over the weekends & we never ever miss JJ haha. Met Pai & his sister, Puen & we just had to had my fav herbal chicken noodle soup first!

Right after lunch, we had coconut ice cream.

Was so reluctant to buy their stupid coconut ice cream. I can tell this story now... a few months back we actually planned to franchise the coconut ice cream to Singapore. But when we spoke to the owner or whoever the girl was that was in charge, we found out that they were actually contacted by another Singaporean 2 years ago. No deal was actually made as the other party was contacting the coconut owners on & off. So I have NO IDEA WHY but she told us that she had to reserve the franchise for him (despite the fact that we were told he loves to MIA) & that she would give him one last chance to reply her regarding his interest. (Ok I actually dk if it was a him or her but whatever) & to our horror, after going MIA for so long, he actually replied & said he wanted it. WTF why do I have such bad luck?? Ok nvm, so she said she'll give him a deadline to pay for the franchise, & if he didn't pay, she would give it to us instead coz we were at that point cash ready & willing to fly over to BKK anytime to learn the recipe. He didn't pay by the given deadline, but by then the girl was replying sporadically & not making any sense so we decided to fuck it. I mean I was so pissed at the way they handled the whole thing. I heard the Singaporean opened a stall or shop or whatever at Sentosa... so you guys can go down & check it out. (Why the heck am I promoting for him hahahaha) oh well. What a case of bad luck & bad timing... nvm moving on!

Anyhooo, we spent v little time at JJ haha. Just went to the pets section & spent quite a bit of time there coz Puen wanted to buy beds for her cats. Or dogs. I forgot which. Hahaha & we ended up buying a camo print bed for Pinky which turned out to be too small for her. Pffftttttt.

Then we just went to visit the huge dogs at the other side of JJ hahaha I always always have to visit the huge Mastiff & Alaskan lol then left & went to Union Mall to shop shop. Actually it was a mega fail coz everytime we go to Union Mall after JJ Sherman's legs would be damn tired & he would go to the massage place to get a foot massage. Lolol so we just walked around for bit, bought just one top & sat at Ice Monster. Went over to Central Ladprao for dinz at ... forgot what's the name of the place! Jap BBQ.

Ok so this doesn't look aroy at all but it's what I ate most of the meal. Pumpkin, mushrooms, eggplant & salmon!! Coz I don't really like beef or pork hahahaha

Altho it was my first time meeting Puen she was really very nice & it wasn't awkward at all! :*

Day 6: Dragged myself out of bed & down for breakfast. Omg... it was really wow. The ambience & the food & everything!!! Oh I forgot to mention that when we were there, the weather was actually very COLD????? At night it was 18-20 degrees, you freaking kidding me. & when we went to JJ, the sun was shining but when the wind blew, it was cold. First time ever I didn't perspire at all at JJ hahaha.

At first I was like just damn grouchy when Sherman was trying to get me excited about breakfast... then I saw CRONUTS. & immediately I woke up I was like ok I wanna eat this & this & this & thats hahahahhaha.

Went back up to change & while I was doing my makeup, I heard a commotion going on downstairs at the roads. Like people blowing whistles & shouting something. & can you imagine, we were at the 56th floor & I could hear so I looked down & I saw 2 streets of people protesting.

To set the record straight, idk what the media has been reporting but the type of protest that I saw there was the peaceful kind?? Like people were just walking on the roads or driving slowly in their vans waving the Thai flag & blowing whistles with some "leaders" saying some stuff with microphones or loudspeakers. There was NO violence at all.

While walking to Saphan Taksin I was like soooooo amazed at the protesters on the streets & feeling annoyed at the same time coz so many roads were closed we had to take the BTS hahahahah & I remember texting ALL my Thai friends saying "WTF WTF I see the protest omg!! SO COOL!!" & everyone was just like... errrrr.... hahahahhaha. I think I said OMFG OMFG LOOK OMG LOOK like 100000 times that day.

I thought it was only the Silom area that had protests so when we alighted at Siam, I was so SHOCKED TO SEE THIS..... !!!!! The entire road from Central World to Pratunam was all closed, so was the entire Siam area. WTF. Brave us crossed right in the middle of all the protesters coz the road was closed so we just happily jaywalked in the middle of all of them hahaha. Sherman kept wanting to buy a whistle lolol. That was really like a once in a lifetime kinda experience for me coz this would NEVER EVER happen in Singapore. Ever.

Went to get my nails done at MBK. As previously mentioned before, my fav shop closed down so I decided to try another shop. The shop isn't at MBK itself, I always locate Watsons at Level 2, then turn left & exit MBK & after the travellator, turn right. It's the first shop on the left! Was so pleased with my decision, I did classic mani + gelish + nail art for a total of SGD$40. SAY WHAT???

My manicurist was so good, she drew everything freehand really quickly & the gelish was also of a good brand, up till now it hasn't chipped or anything. I was so impressed coz she first painted the base coat, twice. Then she used red gel polish to paint all the tips of my fingernails. Then she painted my nails red, twice, did the nail art then did top coat twice. WTF.... I love her to bits hahahha. The only weird thing was that after she was done with the nail art she suddenly stood up & grabbed her whistle & removed her jacket (she was wearing some I love Thailand shirt under) & told her friend to take over & paint the top coat for me coz she was gonna go downstairs to join in the protest. Lololol

While waiting for Ryan we went to have Som Tum Nua even tho we were heading for dinner after teehee. DIE DIE must have Som Tum Nua!!!! My fried chicken....

The most annoying thing the entire day was that becoz of the protests it was nearly impossible to cab anywhere, we walked so fucking much the whole day. & the queues at the BTS station were absolutely cray. Queue to change coins then queue to buy tickets. The queues were like... you can't even imagine really.

& after we had to meet Pai & his friends at Chocolate Ville which if I'm not wrong is at Kaset Nawamin. Which basically translates to very fucking far away. Apparently there were protests at Ladprao too, I think the entire BKK la. In the end we waited so long at Mo Chit, Sherman offered a driver 500 THB to get us to Choc Ville which is of coz ex in BKK standards but typical of S'pore cab fares... so we didn't really feel the heart pain or whatever lol.

The food at Choc Ville is so ordinary... please don't travel all the way there if you expect some damn delicious food but the ambience really makes up for everything. They even had fake snow coz it was the Xmas period. !!!! & they have my fav Rose Hoegaarden there which I absolutely love. Do they have it in S'pore???

Day 7: Woke up, missed breakfast again & Sherman went down alone, checked out of Lebua, went to Langsuan to meet Pai for lunch at Home Kitchen

The food is not bad, not the best Thai food I've had but the best thing is that they do delivery so yknow... next time I'm just gonna be a couch potato in the hotel & order food in hahaha.

Went for massage at Chao 9 again then when they ended work we headed to the airport. SOBZZZZZZ

 My best friends in BKK

Didn't party this trip coz I think I'm getting old, partying isn't appealing at all anymore & didn't get to meet Khun Mea.

Bye BKK, see you next month....

▲TWENTYFOUR▲

I'M BACKKKKK! Didn't realise it's been so long since I last updated. December was a crazy busy month travelling for me so I've so much to share! & not forgetting the way overdue end-of-2013, start-of-2014 reflection post ha ha

So before I start, I just wanna address some issues. I'm fine w people taking my Instagram pics but I think it's only polite if you credit me. I spotted a couple of people using my food pics (food that I COOKED myself so you can't say you went to the same place to eat & you ate the same food as me hello) & especially my pics that were taken at Montigo Resort. I just never left any comments on their pics because I don't wanna be so calculative & annoying & bitchy. But pleaseeee...... guyzzzz... stop stealing my photos & pretend like you took it. I saw a girl who took my pic & even gave advice to someone else on how to edit the pic. LIKE WHAT? & PLEASE, don't follow me on Instagram & ask me a million & one questions on how I edit my pics, (& I WILL reply because I'm nice like that k lol) then get all the info you need & unfollow me. I don't really care about followers but this is obviously making use of me.
& PLEASEx2 don't follow & unfollow & follow & unfollow me. FOR WHAT???? The notifications are really annoying. There's this particular girl who follows & unfollows me like twice a day, for the past week. Why...are...you..doing...this.... & don't steal my shop's pics & post them & resell clothes that belong to your/other online store/s.... I pay my models. I pay my photographer, I pay for studio space. You wanna sell your clothes, please find your own models/studio & create your own pics. WTF. I think it's fucking ridiculous to watermark all my photos.... & I don't wanna do it cause it's LAME... so...... please...just sttttaaahhhhpppp. !!!!!!!!!

Ok ranting over. Haha I'm gonna update about my December chronologically. Tbh now I can't remember what I did in early Dec.. oh well not important I guess

11-16 December: Taipei

First, I went on a family trip which we haven't done in 6 years (!!!!!) to Taipei.

Please don't ask me where's good to go or what's good to do tho, I really have no idea coz I've never been to Taiwan before, nor do my family or myself speak much Mandarin, so we were practically like huhhhh the entire trip. Hahaha we were just either going to the famous places or following what others told me to do.

We booked the trip quite last minute, so I think tickets & accommodation were quite expensive. We took Cathay, with a stopover at Hong Kong. For a round-trip ticket, it was around $550 SGD per person. We stayed at Howard Plaza Hotel, nearest train/MRT/forgot what they call it there is Zhong Xiao Fu Xing station. The location was really good tho! Quite centralized. I'm not sure how much accommodation was but each room was >$200 SGD per night.

Lunch onboard the plane! Cathay food really sucks. To the max.

The moment we reached Taipei, I NEARLY DIED. It was so cold outside, colder than inside!!!! Ok I make it sound like it was really cold.. it was around 17 degrees? But I'm the kinda person who can't take the cold well so yeah hahaha was freezing my ass off.

Bought prepaid cards with data at the airport, the service provider was Tai Wan Da Ge Da. We paid around SGD $20 for one SIM card if I'm not wrong.

Day 1: Reached Taipei & by the time we checked into the hotel & settled down it was almost 9PM, so we took a cab to some night market that the hotel bellboy recommended. He kept saying "Lao He"... I was practically 24/7 on WhatsApp with Shermaine coz she's been to Taiwan before & kept updating me about the places I should go to.. neither of us knew what Lao He was. When we arrived, it was actually RAO HE. -.-

Rao He was one of my fav night markets coz it was really organized, basically just one street & 2 sides to cover. Within 10 mins I bought a pair of Nikes from one of the shops lol. (I just suddenly remembered about this pair of shoes & realise I haven't seen it since I came back wtf lol). The rest of the market was mostly just food food & more food. We ate A LOT that night coz it was our first night market, we wanted to try everything hahaha.

& everywhere we walked I could smell chou tofu. OMFG.... I hate the smell of it so much.... Idek why people dare to even put it into their mouths.... PUKE. In fact this stupid smell haunted me almost everyday in Taipei. _|_

Day 2: Went for breakfast at this really random roadside stall where there wasn't a menu & we resorted to pointing to food pics on the walls (there were magazine articles about their food plastered all over) tbh I wasn't a fan of the food, I hate pork.. I guess this place is pretty famous tho?? Since there were so many articles about them. I really don't know the location of this place but it's like 1 min walk away from Chrome Hearts at Ren Ai Road.

Was walking randomly down the road after breakfast when I spotted this grey building... & this silver logo which looked kinda familiar.... OMG CHROME HEARTS started running towards the building lolol. But in the end I bought nothing.......... the tees' designs were ugly. Wasn't interested in jewelry. SOBZ

Took a train to Taipei Zoo station, where the zoo's at (obviously). I remember entrance fee was around SGD $4 WTF? But we didn't get a chance to go in coz we took the gondola up to Mao Kong & by the time we came down the zoo was closed. WTF. Wanted to see pandas... :'(

Anw idk why there was this Hello Kitty theme going on around Mao Kong but... good for me coz I love HK ^_^

Purposely queued up for the crystal cabin! The floor is made of see-through glass so we could see the forest & trees etc... this was also the time I realised I kinda got over my fear of heights I used to have since I was a kid. Yippee! The ride up the mountain was close to 20 mins.

Reached the top & there were quite a few street-food stalls. CHOU TOFU AGAIN FUCK MY LIFE. Walked around for about 15 trying to find some ice cream stall Sher told me about... no luck. Can't read signs in Chinese either. Sobz. Turned the other direction & had lunch at some Western cafe my mom's friend told her about.

Sat outdoors & even in leggings & a pullover I was freezing to death oh my gawd. Idk how some Taiwanese girls could sit outdoors & chill & take selfies & smoke. But tbh most of the locals were wearing real thick winterwear hahaha.

The food was mediocre, the ambience was lovely.

I think we went back to the hotel to rest after that, legs were aching badly from walking here & there & at night we went to Shilin Night Market. (I can't really remember the flow of events lol)

First thing I HAD TO TRY was this!

It's soooo sweet but I love it. I always see it in TV shows bahahaha finally tried it. I had it twice...

Fried milk!!

Trololol waffle dicks. Wanted to buy one... but nobody was near the stall. Everyone was standing at a distance & taking pics... & I didn't wanna be the one who got judged buying a waffle dick. & then eating it after. Awwww

Saw this in quite a few places in Taiwan.. up till now I still have no idea wtf this is. WOW FROG EGGS? Didn't look like anything froggy tho..

Found Hot Star! Tbh I haven't even tried it in S'pore but everyone says it's much nicer there so ya. 6 of us took turns eating the chicken & we couldn't even finish it. Threw like 1/4 away in the end lol it was so huge.

This was so gross & dry & I only bought it to take a pic for Mandy coz she loves elephants. Hahaha

Also had the famous Ah Zong Mee Sua. I remember getting angry lolol when Sherman came back with a bowl of this coz it had PIG INTESTINES inside. Wtf so gross I was expecting oysters (which I find gross too but not as gross as pig intestines) I hate pork I hate pig everything. Avoided em carefully & had some mee sua... Idk what's the hype about really. I think the oyster mee sua at Shi Lin snacks in S'pore is nicer?? Hahaha but the experience was cool. They had a shop, kinda like a restaurant but with no tables, just benches all over & people will sit & hold their bowl of mee sua & eat & leave when they're done. Lol so weird.

Sneaker shops everywhere! Bought a pair of Air Max for Anton

Bought Starbucks at Zhong Xiao Fu Xing Sogo for the walk back to the hotel in the furreeeezzzinggg cold. Cakes at Starbucks were super cheap tho! SGD$4 for a slice, compared to the prices in S'pore.

Bought this cute bottles of coffee & milk tea from 7-11 (Family Mart has em too) they look like shampoo bottles right?! I bought every single flavour coz I wanted to collect the bottles bahahhaa.

Day 3: Had brunch at Zhong Xiao Fu Xing's Din Tai Fung. I'm not a fan of DTF at all, not even in S'pore but Sher insisted I try it. They do have items that they don't have in S'pore, like the guo tie which was quite nice actually.

With my dad & Sherman around, we almost always over-ordered during every meal.

Took the train down to Xi Men Ding for some shopping! (altho I bought nothing LOL)

Surprisingly the weather that day wasn't really cold & I actually perspired in my pullover a little bit.

My mom & sis went into practically every shoe shop they saw. As in, ladies' shoes, while Sherman & I went into every sneaker shop we saw but got nothing. I bought like 10 pairs of socks tho for around less than SGD $1 per pair.

Got bored while waiting & saw someone eating ice cream. Followed the person to the shop & got one for myself hehehe. Best feeling in the world to eat icecream when it's cold out!

Couldn't resist Hot Star again. Their fried mushrooms are so yummy!

We were done with XMD really quick in a couple of hours so we left to go to Zhong Xiao Dun Hua. Wanted to go to Juice Taipei! Sadly we didn't see Edison Chen hahahahahaaaaaa.

Made friends with the really cute girl working there & we chatted about makeup & 3CE/Style Nanda in really broken Chinese (for me) & broken English (for her) she kept asking if I liked 花 de Air Max & I had no clue what she was talking about.. found out that night that Juice was gonna realise the Liberty x Nike Bourton AM1 the next day lolol SO THAT's what she was talking about... Got an UNDFTD tee for myself. The only clothing I bought the entire trip lolol.

Bought 4 pairs of Puma x Sneaker Freaker shoes... the boxes were so huge D:

I think that night we went to Shi Da Night Market. Where I bought nothing again. Tbh there was quite a few stalls with v v nice clothing but I was freezing, had no mood to shop, & they were selling mostly winter wear. I was soooo tempted to buy so many knits & pullovers but S'pores weather is just.... so nah.

Day 4: Was watching TV before heading out for breakfast, saw the advertisement for Happy Meals & there were HELLO KITTY TOYS. So naturally, we went to Macs for brunch. Teeheeeee.

& then we took a freaking long train ride to I forgot which station. But the place we went was called Dan Shui! It's like some old street/old area with street food bla bla etc which naturally meant more eating of coz

OMG these fried mushrooms were so freaking good I miss it so badly now I want some I NEED some

Ice cream AGAIN... the one on the right was so good. Some tea & melon flavour mixed.

We came all the way here to see the sunset.... but obviously, there wasn't any coz there was no SUN????

Then we saw a taller ice cream so we just had to buy ice cream, AGAIN

After that, Sherman & I went off by ourselves to Zhong Xiao Dun Hua again while the rest of my family went elsewhere. We went back to JUICE & walked around the area where most of the shops were selling street wear like Stussy, UNDFTD, Nike, New Balance etc.. then walked all the way to Chrome Hearts again but had nothing to buy again. Then we HAD TO go to Hello Kitty Cafe!!!

Idek what to say about the desserts.... just thank God we didn't decide to have our dinner there??? How can something that looks so good & cute taste so awful hahahahhaa. Still I don't regret going coz it was a Hello Kitty experience not to be missed. I pity the boyfriend who had to accompany me there & eat those sucky desserts just for the sake of these pics lolol.

Went back to Zhong Xiao Fu Xing Sogo to have our dinner at a Jap Tonkatsu restaurant called Anzu, recommended by Sher (obviously). We had SO MUCH difficulty ordering coz the entire menu was in Chinese (I expected English menus considering the standard of the place tbh) & the waitress was speaking in such fast & fluent Mandarin, I even had to take pics of the menu & send em to Sher & ask her to translate for me... it was that bad.....

So anyway we had this!

It was on their special seasonal menu. A really big portion of tonkatsu which I am not a fan of coz it's pork, but in really yummy sauce with mixed mushrooms. The rice is refillable & really nice, & their chawanmushi was OMFG the best I ever tasted in my life. THAT GOOD. Oh they call it Cha Wan there. Lol I ordered it guessing & hoping it'd be chawanmushi haha. We also had some sides of tamago & erm I forgot what else. Our total bill was less than SGD$30 WHAAAAATTTT?? It was a pretty "high-class" restaurant too. Really cheap.

Day 5: Had no idea where to go. Haha went to Taipei Main Station & did some shopping in some mall idek the name of.

I chose the lunch venue, Coco Ichibanya! Lol yes I know they have it in S'pore too but idc. Food was v good & yummy & CHEAP. Less than SGD $80 for 6 of us!!

Then Daddy got me my Liberty x Nike sneakers hehehe. Can't believe they sell COLLABS at NIKE STORES.

We got bored of that place pretty quick & decided to go to Taipei 101. But when we reached there we figured it wasn't worth going all the way up coz it was so cloudy & all we prolly wouldn't be able to see anything.

Went back to the hotel & my dad insisted on having the hotel buffet as our last dinner in Taipei so yeah. Wasn't too excited about the food but they had Haagen Dazs ice cream HAHAHA so guess what I had for dinner..... ice cream again.

Day 6: Woke up, did last minute packing & went to the airport to catch our flight. Stopped over in HK for 2 hours & I just had to have Macs at the airport coz HK McNuggets is nicer than S'pore. LOL

Nothin much, I felt like the trip was too long coz we didn't really know where to go & we didn't go out of Taipei either. It wasn't boring yet wasn't like wow fun I guess but the street food is good (& fattening!) but even tho I complained about the cold most of the time, I missed the weather the moment we stepped back into Changi Airport. Lolzzzz.

K next post up will be about my Bangkok trip after Taiwan! Omg I spent almost 3 hours & 50% of my laptop battery on this post.
