So we decided to fly to Krabi from BKK to explore somewhere different in Thailand for once.. hehe. Air tickets were rly cheap tho. $200 for all in!! Means SG to BKK, BKK to Krabi & Krabi to SG. Good deal right mwahahaha.
We took Air Asia to Krabi & the journey was about an hour. We stayed at Red Ginger Chic Resort cuz that's where our Thai friends stayed previously & they said it was not bad!
We booked the "suite", and we had to climb the stairs to the bedroom every night hehe. I think the room was quite nice! About $120 a night only. Super worth it
To be honest, on the first day we didn't really do anything since we reached almost at evening time. I remember us wandering ard not knowing where to go cuz unlike BKK, where we are familiar with almost everywhere, we had no clue abt anything in Krabi at all.
So we tabao-ed dinner from some random roadside 'zi char' stall & went back to the hotel to eat & watch our pirated DVDs that we bought from BKK lololol. The food was super nice as usual even tho it was just a random stall.
