▲TWENTYONE▲

I've been getting quite a number of questions on Instagram, from friends, on Ask.fm about the stuff I cook & recipes etc. so I thought I'd share a couple today. I never, ever cook at home. I only make & eat homecooked food over at Sherman's place, together with his sister, Shermaine. If it wasn't because of her, I wouldn't even bother with preparing our own food & would rather just eat out for convenience's sake.

Sorry for the fact that I only have one picture of each dish we've made! I don't have a habit of taking many photos, even when I'm out with friends etc etc. I only take ONE good photo, which is Instagram-worthy (it then depends on my mood whether I do actually post the photo or not hahahah) I must also mention that I'm extremely impatient so Shermaine helps me take some of my photos hahaha I hate getting the lighting right, the angle, no shadows bla bla.

♥  Mixed "Salad"

This is obviously not a typical salad, but it's my version of a salad I guess? Hahaha, I'm not really a must eat clean must eat healthily kind of person, but for a period of time I TRIED. I hate raw veggies though.... so yup

1. Defrost chicken breast
2. Prepare & wash all veggies. In this bowl, I used broccoli, corn, snow peas, french beans, baby carrots, baby potatoes
3. Boil all veggies in a pot but don't over-boil them till they turn soft & mushy
4. Air-fry egg tofu
5. Season chicken breast with a teeny bit of salt & black pepper
6. Fry chicken breast & smoked sausages
7. Add in the veggies & add some salt to taste, black pepper & basil

♥  Egg/Veggie Cups

This was Sher's idea! I must be really honest, I thought this was tasteless. Hahahaha she doesn't use much seasoning except pepper in her food & she's fine with it, but if you know me well you'd know I'm addicted to all things salty. D: whoooops. I'm just listing whatever we did, but it's up to you to add seasoning to suit your own taste buds.

1. Boil veggies. I used baby carrots, broccoli & corn
2. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl, add black pepper
3. Take a muffin tray & oil it a little with olive oil
4. Put an equal amount of veggies in each section
5. Pour the egg into each section over the veggies
5. Place the entire tray in the oven

Tbh I have no idea what temp the oven was at or how long we put it in the oven for. We just randomly adjusted the temp & left it in but kept checking it to see if it was done? Don't over-bake though cos the eggs will end up a little dry.

♥ Veggie Stir-fry ♥

This was another of Sher's inventions! She made this once before & kept raving about it so we decided to make it together again.

1. Wash/chop veggies. I used cabbage, baby potatoes & baby carrots. These are my favourite veggies, I don't quite like french beans or snow peas so we left them out
2. Lightly boil the carrots & potatoes so they won't be so hard when you fry them
3. Prepare chicken stock. We used this chicken stock she bought from NTUC which is a healthier alternative & has less MSG, sodium etc. I'm really not sure what's the brand or how it looks like but if you really want to know, just leave a question on Ask.fm. We just added one tblspn of chicken stock to some hot water & stirred
4. Chop some garlic & fry in pan
5. Add the veggies in & stir-fry
6. Add chicken stock & let it simmer
7. When the veggies are almost done, crack an egg over the entire thing in the centre
8. Garnish with smoked salmon, seaweed & black pepper

Okay I think 3 is more than enough for now.

Which brings me to my next point: we are toying with the idea of selling the cutlery we use! Plating with cute/gorgeous utensils for eating & taking pics are a dream hehehe. I'm looking more towards ceramic/porcelain plates & bowls & she loves wooden boards, bowls, fork/spoon etc so...

This would be an example of the stuff we hope to bring in! Do let us know if it's a good idea or not? ;-)

XOXO
